Hagerstown, MD: Ephraim will be exhibiting his “Woodley Suite” at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts in Hagerstown, Maryland. The suite is comprised of paintings of Ephraim’s historic Maryland plantation house, whose beautiful spaces and light have been a constant source of inspiration. New York City: Several of Ephraim’s gouache cityscapes will be exhibited in “Seeing the City: Artist’s Views of New York City” at George Billis Gallery in Chelsea. The show will run from July 23- August 17, 2013. For more details, please visit the gallery’s website.
Ephraim will be holding two Plein-Air Landscape Oil Painting Workshops in Central Park, New York City. Each workshop runs for a week from 9:00AM- 12:30PM. The first session is from July 8-12, 2013, and the second is from August 12-16, 2013. Either session can be taken separately. There is a small discount for enrolling in both. “Still Life with Discarded Books III” will be reproduced on the cover of Gavin Jones’ forthcoming book, Failure and the American Writer: A Literary History. The book is due to be released in 2014 by Cambridge University Press. Gavin Jones is Professor of English and Department Head at Stanford University.
Woodley, “Interior Sunlight II” will be included in the Faculty Exhibition at The Art Students League of New York. The show will run from September 4th – 26th.
